Summer Glau, an American actress is best known for her role as River Tam and Cameron in Firefly. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Other than these shows, she was also featured in The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow Sequestered. Additionally she appeared as a guest star on Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck Hawaii Five-0. As well as being featured in films like Serenity, Knights of Badassdom and Knights of Badassdom, the actress has done TV films, as well as other short-films like Mammoth the Initiation of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon aiding in the celebrations of the holidays Dead End Inside the Box and several more. Glau has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors. FHM listed her twice as one of the 100 Sexiest Women in all time and Wizard magazine ranked her as one of the most sexiest women on television. Maxim also included Glau as an American in its Hot 100. Regarding her performance awards, Glau was awarded the SFX Award for Best Actress for Serenity. The actress also won the Saturn Award as Best Supporting actor for her part as a character in Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was born the third daughter of Marcela Quintanilla and Abraham Quintanilla. Selena's musical career began when she was eight years old. She joined the father-led band. The group consisted of Selena as well as her siblings Abraham junior who played base guitar and sister Suzette who played the drums and Selena was the vocalist of the band. Selena Y Los Dino, the band she performed with was known as Selena Y Los Dino. They also performed at wedding fairs as also at restaurants. Selena did not have much childhood as the band required an extensive amount of time. But their father Abraham was determined to encourage them and they became committed musicians. Abraham senior was a member of the first band, known as Los Dinos. Selena Y Los Dinos began to be formed in the year 1981. It was a family-owned business, Selena Los Dinos, the main source of income for the Quintanilla family. While there were difficult times in the beginning, with a lack of money the Quintanilla family persevered and remained focused in their quest to create a successful band. They would see their patience pay back in the mid 1980's as Selena Y Los Dinos gained notoriety in the western states. Selena won the Female Vocalist Award as well as the award for Performer of the Year at the Tejano awards in the year 1986. From that moment on Selena Y Los Dinos were among the top performers year after year and gained notoriety and fame. The group appeared in many shows in Spanish, including El Show De Johnny Canales as well as Siempre En Domingo or Sabado Gigante.
